There is cricket on this weekend! Things already look a little different and we need your help.

Limited Junior coaching started tonight and we are looking forward to an interclub warm-up tomorrow. Lots of work from our volunteer team to get this far so thank you to everyone.

Many things are different as you can imagine. Primarily we need to keep everyone safe whilst enjoying the cricket club and everything it has to offer. We don't pretend for one moment this will be easy and we won't all get it right all of the time. As such EVERYONE has a duty to help all members and friends ensure these points are observed. Please speak up when that's not the case. And please contribute in suggesting ways we can do better. None of us is an expert here so I really implore that everyone helps in any way they can.

Fundamentally, the headline is that everyone needs to be socially distanced at all times. Anyone not socially distancing (outside of family bubbles) will be reminded to do so.

Players and officials

· Changing rooms will not be accessible, you will need to arrive ready to play.
· Toilets will be available. Anyone using them will need to follow the guidelines displayed. This includes using the cleaning equipment provided to clean surfaces you have come into contact with. Increased hand hygiene is essential; guidance and resources are available to help you achieve this. Each person using the facilities is responsible for ensuring that the next person wishing to use them, finds them clean and COVID-safe.
· Toilets are strictly for use on a one-in-one-out basis, regardless of gender to maintain social distancing. Signage is in place.
· Social distancing must be observed at all times off the field; this includes before any play.
· Please respect the scorer and maintain social distancing there too.
· You will need to bring your own tea and water for consumption during play. Please do not share anything with others.
· Bring your own cricket kit and do not share with others. Wipe down gloves and bat at the end of the game.
· Your help in setting up and putting things away afterwards is key - please do not leave this to the few.
· A £5 match fees will apply. Contactless payment ideally.

Spectators
· Social distancing should be observed at all times. Please bring rugs or chairs if you wish to do so and place them 2m apart (unless you are from the same household). Clubhouse chairs can not be used. The picnic tables can be used.
· A takeaway bar will have a selection of items to purchase using contactless pay only. Hours to be established.

All
· Please do not come to the ground if you or anyone in your household show any symptoms of the virus.
· Please bring your own sanitizer and/or alcohol wipes and use frequently.
· Please be respectful of social distancing regulations, we do need to follow them to keep everyone safe.
