Welcome to Junior cricket at Godalming CC in 2024! We look forward to seeing lots of old and many new faces again this season.
We began with indoor nets on 3rd March for our older age groups and will follow on with outdoor coaching from 19th and 20th April 2024. Please read the below detail carefully for dates and timings for each age group, as well as information on how to register and book onto sessions. U6, U7, U8 and U9 coaching will be on Saturday mornings at 10am and U10s to U15s will be on Friday evenings at the specific times below. Our new U17s squad will train at a time TBC in due course.
Matches are already on the website to view but there may be a few changes between now and the beginning of the season. There are lots of opportunities this season with 3 more teams in leagues for 2024!

Please make sure you follow the process outlined below to ensure you are booked into the correct sessions.

Outdoor Coaching – Minis and Juniors

**Saturday 20th April 2024 for 12 weeks**

o U6, U7s, U8s and U9s @ 10am (year 1,2,3&4)

(spaces strictly limited so register and make payment EARLY to avoid disappointment)

**Friday 19th April 2024 for 12 weeks**

o U10s, U11s and U12s @ 5.30pm (year 5, 6 and 7)

o U13s, U14s and U15s @ 6.30pm (year 8, 9 and 10)

- U16s and U17s will train on Wednesday/Thursday nights (timings and dates TBC by Tim)

- Each session will run for an hour and the costs are included as part of the membership fees.

**Important Detail**

- Your child must be registered on the website ( https://www.godalmingcc.co.uk ). We will not be able to take any “walk-ins” on Friday evenings/Saturday mornings.

o New members must create a new profile and returning members must ensure your account is live and up to date - go to http://www.godalmingcc.co.uk and log in, where you will find details of teams, matches, events and your own parent profile. Ensure your communication settings are up to date so you get all the latest info.

o Your Profile - ensure you and your child(ren) have the correct roles assigned including you as a "parent" and your child as a "player" within the correct team: Go to "Your Account", go to "Membership", select Godalming Cricket Club, then "Manage Roles" for you and your child.

o Ensure you have given us permission to see your details including contact email and phone number, plus your child’s DOB to help ensure they are in the correct squads.

- All sessions will be by BOOKING ONLY. To do this, you need to set “available” for the relevant training session which can be found using the Pitchero App or by using the calendar on the website here - https://www.godalmingcc.co.uk/calendar. Please ensure you book into the correct session specific to your age group. If you don’t book in you will not be able to join in due to the limited numbers we can cater for in each session.

- One up-front payment of £99 will cover the 12 weeks of outdoor coaching and allow for selection in matches (this also includes your child’s club membership). All fixtures are now live on the website. You must make payment online - we will not be taking cash or card payment. - Before attending a session;

o Ensure you’ve signed up on the website, paid your Junior Annual Subscription and booked onto the relevant session.

o Bring your own water bottle and any cricket kit you may have, INCLUDING a hardball for those age groups requiring them in the nets.

**Godalming Dynamos/Sparks**

We would love to run both Dynamos and Sparks again for 2024 which are our Girls’ specific sections. We are looking out for someone to run a Girl's section so please reach out if you would like to get this off the ground again this season. It will not happen unless someone is prepared to run it.

We ALWAYS need extra help; from umpiring and scoring, to team management and crowd control in the nets so please offer your time at some point this season. Speak to the individual team managers about how you could get involved or drop me an email.
